The postmark on the envelope of this card established the
date when Karl visited Jugtown.
Inside the card Karl wrote this note to Becky. "Harvey" refers to
Harvey Littleton. Mrs. Jaques Busbee was their host at Jugtown.
They rented their studio, the
Pink House, from
Grace Wilkes
from about 1938-1942.
