Below is an original sales card from ca. 1940. Three or four buttons were sewn onto each card.
The card was a linoleum cut print made by Karl Martz.
A similar card was marked "75¢". 75¢ in 1940 is equivalent to $13 in 2019.
Similar cards (with different buttons) sold on eBay for $225 in April, 2007
and $55 in May, 2008.

This card with its buttons was generously given in 2013 to the decendents of Becky Brown and Karl Martz by Fredia Liebhard of Reno, Nevada, USA, in memory of her mother (who purchased the card with its buttons ca. 1940), Barbara Delores Marter Garrotte of Worthington, Indiana USA.
