Slip-cast vase, shown slightly enlarged, made by Becky Brown in the late 1930's or 1940's. Mold was carved by Karl Martz, who also formulated the glazes.

Note the close similarity of the Brown County Pottery vase on the right. Karl worked for the Brown County Pottery in 1934-35. The pots, and therefore the molds, are slightly different. It is not known whether Karl made both molds.
