9 inches (23 cm) high, 10 inches (25 cm) wide.
A series of Karl's pots in the early 1960's (see also another vase and a globe) was inspired by ancient Greek amphoras, recovered from the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, and acquired by the Indiana University Art Museum. These were encrusted with the remnants of sea creatures and their abodes.
